Weekly recap

All I can do at 1AM is eat M&M’s with peanut butter and daydream about not writing this tonight. My muse has taken a hiatus so my writing skills are nil. Absolutely nothing interesting is coming to mind, so I’m going to summarize last week…

I’m still exhausted. The most sleep that I got at one time was five hours. Every other night, I rested anywhere from two to four hours. Hurrah for heartache mixed with eustress and too much homework. I surprisingly can’t say I hated the week. It presented some interesting turns to my life that were pleasant.

Also, this weekend (which was supposed to give me time to make up some lost sleep time and didn’t) was amazing. I went to my roommate’s house in Picayune and I got to ride her sister’s horse. I’ve been riding horses since I was twelve, but when my senior year of high school jumped out at me, money got tight along with my time. I was working at a stable, but there was never any opportunity to ride consistently enough to retain my proficiency. Yesterday was my first time in the saddle since my high school junior year and I now ache. I have pretty much lost all the muscle that took me six years of riding to develop, which sucks. Motrin is my best friend.

Anyway, I ate so much this weekend that I thought I was gonna be ill, I got as much sleep as any other night (two to four hours) , we went to a Mardi Gras parade, and I forgot to read over my script to memorize my lines. I’d have to say it was a wonderful and successfully busy weekend. It opened with a storm and closed with a kiss. I’ll just cross my fingers and hope for this week to be just as good, even though I already know it’s going to be twice as busy…
